Jordan Brand has a long history of showing a flagrant level of disregarding the wishes of their consumer base with what they have released, or haven’t in many cases ( French Blue 9s and any XVI’s come to mind). Such is the case with the Air Jordan 1 Mid; the scorn and derision routinely directed at this silhouette has in no way deterred the good folks at Jordan Brand from turning off the spigot that shoots these out to the masses.
This upcoming Air Jordan sports a white leather foundational layer but sports flipped color blocking from that of its identically named lowered collared iteration, featuring cement grey overlays and true blue Swooshes. White shows up on the lateral ankle Wings logo, with true blue present on the inner and tongue border.
Below the aforementioned upper resides a white midsole and a true blue rubber outsole.
Th ”True Blue” Air Jordan 1 Mid is expected to imminently release at nike.com and select retail venues; they will carry a 125 USD sticker price.
